RSS FeedRecent vanity plates
Saw some cool vanity plates recently.
- XKCD 437 – Fittingly, this was an SUV (Original cartoon).
- G8RFAN – Fittingly again, Florida themed plates.
- R3 GLS – A minivan, probably referring to a soccer mom with 3 girls.
- 5JABI – Could be from more than one country, but the person’s mother tongue is one of top 10 spoken languages.
- MOCKBA – Person is from the city with the largest number of billionaires.

Yeah, that’s fine, no problem. We have some tables open in the back.

This from News 24 in South Africa
I wonder why the media never has stories like “Irrational delirium creates $2.5 trillion of fake value in stocks”. Perhaps the answer lies in the various kinds of advertising.
As for the second highlight (disguising advertising as news items), perhaps that is an admission by the media that they no longer know or care about the facts?
Same Soul, Many Bodies
Currently reading Same Soul, Many Bodies, by Brian Weiss. As I am generally an agnostic about anything, I approach these ideas with skepticism. (“Blessed be the skeptic, for he hogs thy attention.”)
But after reading a certain portion of the book, I find that while my skepticism has not changed significantly, the book has made my skepticism a bit less relevant.
